Getting Involved 04/04/2012
There are so many ways, large and small, that community members can give back and ensure that the PRSD continues to promote excellence in education for all students. PEF is currently seeking volunteers to support fundraising, alumni relations, business collaboration, intra-community communication, grant writing, and more. Time commitments can vary from a one time 2 hour project to a weekly or monthly commitment, all dependent on your availability. We are also looking for community leaders who would be interested in serving on our board while developing community and business relationships. We need volunteers from all 3 PRSD towns to make the PEF a success. If you are a retiree, parent, student, alumni, or interested community member, please consider coming to our next PEF meeting and sharing your thoughts and energy with us. Or else, contact us at info@pentucketedfund.org. We look forward to your support and interest! Make sure you "fan" our facebook page to get updates! Add Comment Teacher and Staff Appreciation 03/22/2011
We are pleased to introduce the PEF's “Teacher Tribute” program. This program is designed to provide parents and alumni with a simple and effective way to demonstrate appreciation for teachers and PRSD staff members, who have had a special impact on the lives of our children. By honoring teachers or staff with a donation in their name, donors will help the PEF support excellence in education and technology programs in Pentucket’s schools. With extremely tight budgets and heightened expectations, PEF funding is critical to the success of our teachers and their students. What better way to honor those who give so much to our community? You may donate in the name of any teacher or staff member in Pentucket's public schools at the elementary, middle or high school level by using the online the form on our donation page or contacting: erin.rich@gmail.com. Once your tribute is received by the PEF, we will send out a special acknowledgment card to the honoree and his/her principal to let them know that a donation to PEF has been made in their honor. While donor names are not revealed to the honorees, they will feel rewarded to discover how deeply their work has been appreciated. Let a teacher or faculty member know how grateful you are for the positive impact they have had on your family. Please make a donation dedicated in their honor today! Thank you in advance for your generous support and for honoring the talented and dedicated faculty and staff of the Pentucket Regional School District. Your Community... 02/07/2011
With the First Annual Winter Gala behind us, we look towards fund-raising efforts to support our initial 2-year initiatives in technology and developing incentive grants for staff to use for innovative teaching. We have added a direct donation option and hope community members, parents, alumni, and community members will consider giving directly to the PEF. Just click on the "Donate" page. All donations are tax deductible and will be used to support development in technology and innovative teaching. We continue to seek volunteers to serve in various capacities. If you have a fund-raising idea, are interested in alumni relations, or would like to help with any of our other committees, we welcome your support. Please contact us at: info@pentucketedfund.org or attend our next meeting on Thursday, March 3rd in the District Conference Room at the Middle School. We look forward to collaborating with the amazing members of the Pentucket Community! Giving Back to Your Community 01/21/2011
